I've been going back and forth with the Megadroid support Group. I cannot get the Robot to work with My present Broker, FXCM.
I get an error message the the Spread has been over the limit. Of course this is untrue as FXCM has the best spread in the Industry. I also get old tick messages in My Journal.
It seems to Me that Megadroid might have issues with the Boston Technology version of Metatrader4.
I have scanned the Forum for any miscue on My part in the Install ation of this Robot( I unblocked the DLL) only thing I could find that I didn't do at first.
I am familar with Robots and the MT4 platform, But I am at a dead end with this situation
Oh! I'm running the Robot with default settings. The only thing I've changed is the Text color to make it show clearer on My chart. Hoping You can help before I'm off to clickbank for a refund.

Hello Bill,

I used to try to run the Megadroid 1.11 on my FXCM/US account and the 1.21 bot on my FXCM/UK powered by Boston Technologies - both have too high a spread - Megadroid trades only if the spread is less than 3... so I had to change brokers...

No need to return the bot for a broker whose spreads do not allow as many trade opportunities as the other brokers out there whose spreads do not exceed the maximum of 3 for the Droid trading...

Forex.com/UK, MIG Bank, Tadawul FX are other brokers I have used the Megadroid 1.21 successfully on... You may want to check some of those reputable brokers out for Droid trading...

Check out The Aslan Group Rebate Plan and see if you can score extra money just for trading with any of these brokers...

Hope this info helps you configure your portfolio for trading the Droid bot...

My experiences with FXCM/UK powered by the Boston Technologies platform ended dismally last fall... the platform was slow to execute trades, the platform froze often, requotes, offquotes... after several months of attempting to coexist with this broker I had no choice but to move onward...

Best of luck with getting the Droid to trade on your new broker...

Colleen: Thank you for the reply. FXCM/UK with spreads to high? Thats sad. I use FXCM/UK as My real account broker using their Trade Station and the spreads are rarely over 3 pips.
Is the MT4 platform that different from the Trade Station platform? If I must use an other Broker for this Robot to work, I will. But I like to keep things neat in small packages. Another Broker in the Mix Stinks.
I do like using UK Brokers as they dont have the restrictive Rules that have to be followed in the U.S.

Hello Bill,

I was just letting you know that FXCM/UK powered by Boston Technologies MT4 Platform did NOT work out for me - Megadroid trading or manual trading either - the execution of trades was slow or non existent... I don't wish to bash this broker though but I really could NOT work with their platform and I did find the spreads go above 3 during the Asian Timeframe frequently thus not allowing the Droid to make as many trades as other brokers - brokers variance at work for sure here!

As I mentioned earlier, I have successfully traded the Megadroid 1.31 on Forex.com/UK, MIG Bank and Tadawul FX... so these may be alternative brokers you may wish to consider transferring funds over to if you decide to open a new account with them... The Aslan Group Rebate Plan may also be of interest too so check that out also - see my link in my signature below...

I too prefer the UK brokers, the Swiss brokers (MIG Bank - $2K now required instead of $5K to open a new account) and then Tadawul from Cyprus just to keep things interesting - but Tadawul FX guarantees their spread will not exceed 3... so that optimizes their platform for Droid trading...

Hope you can set up your portfolio to optimize trading strategies with the brokers you choose to work with...

FYI I am running live with FXCM, IBFX, and Forex.com. FXCM is the least profitable. I run .2 and .3 risk but with FXCM i keep it a t .2 the spreads are high so it seems the risk of a loss is greater.
